AHOI Donautalbrücke Bridge Opening

On 25 October 2024, the city of Linz witnessed a very special highlight: the ceremonial opening of the new Danube Valley Bridge on the A26 Westring motorway, a project that will have a lasting impact on Linz. brandmood was commissioned by ASFINAG to inaugurate this important infrastructure project in a fitting manner and create an unforgettable experience for the 2,500 invited guests.

Even the guests' arrival promised an extraordinary event: numerous representatives from politics and business were brought to the bridge by ship, where they were able to get in the mood for the on board opening . Upon arrival at the foot of the Danube Valley Bridge, the impressive light show by brandmood set the scene for the structure - an ensemble of light, technology and atmosphere that illuminated the evening sky above the Danube and honoured the architectural masterpiece of the new suspension bridge.

The Danube Valley Bridge is an impressive structure, with two main cables, each 500 metres long and a total weight of 85 tonnes, carrying 13,000 tonnes of bridge material. In a carefully planned and well thought-out staging, brandmood put the spotlight on this structural engineering marvel and brought it deservedly to the attention of the people of Linz.

brandmood took over the entire organisational process and ensured that every detail - from inviting the 2,500 visitors, to the guest logistics, to the final show staging - was perfectly coordinated.
