On September 5, 2026, TIWAG in Kühtai once again opened the doors to the power plant project, offering visitors an exciting look behind the scenes of the construction site.

From 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM, guests could get to know the power plant project up close. During the construction site tour, the various stations led, among other things, to the dam crest, into the power plant cavern, to the Julia tunnel, and into the Kühtai power plant

A special highlight awaited directly at the dam: During climbing on the dam, visitors could ascend the dam crest themselves and experience the imposing structure from a very special perspective. Viewing platforms, construction vehicles, the TIWAG Infomobil, and many other interactive stations made the dimensions and special features of the power plant project directly tangible.

The topic of renaturation also played an important role. Guests gained insights into the measures concerning the near-natural design of the areas and could plant trees themselves, thus actively contributing to renaturation.

A diverse supporting program was also offered at the event area. Presenter Lea Singer from Life Radio Tirol provided entertainment for guests at the event area. For younger visitors, there was a versatile children's program with face painting, a wheel of fortune, a bouncy castle, popcorn, a game box, and a bungee trampoline
