We certify your event or meeting according to the Austrian Ecolabel UZ62 for Green Meetings & Green Events. To help you understand what a Green Event entails and how the process works, we have summarized the most important questions for you:
Green Events are events where specific ecological and social criteria are considered during planning and implementation.
These include, for example, measures in the areas of mobility, venue and accommodation, catering, procurement and material use, waste management, energy, as well as social aspects and accessibility.
As a licensee of the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Meetings & Green Events (UZ62), brandmood supports you in the planning, implementation, and certification of your event.
The requirements of the Ecolabel are integrated into event planning early on, and the necessary measures and proofs are coordinated with you.
- Early Planning:
Bring brandmood on board as early as possible. This way, the requirements for UZ62 certification can be considered during the conception phase. - Event Conception:
brandmood develops a tailored event concept with you. This includes considering suitable locations, caterers, accommodations, mobility solutions, and other service providers with regard to the relevant UZ62 criteria. - Implementation:
brandmood oversees the implementation of planned measures and coordinates the requirements and proofs relevant for certification. - Documentation and Follow-up:
The necessary measures are documented, and the corresponding proofs for certification are compiled.

A Green Event scores where it really counts.
The Green Event certification UZ 62 is a trustworthy and recognized seal of approval. It complies with an ISO Type 1 standard and is therefore internationally recognized according to ISO 20121.

Most services do not incur additional costs – many criteria can be easily integrated with regional partners, conscious planning, and resource-saving solutions.

Basically yes – almost every event can be certified as a Green Event. However, in our experience, indoor events are best suited, as many criteria can be implemented more easily and efficiently here.
