A delegation from the innovative start-up DACLAB traveled from Silicon Valley to Vienna to present a groundbreaking system for direct air capture of CO2. They showcased how initial prototypes have evolved into a market-ready solution with global potential.

The day began at TU Wien, where DACLAB and the university showcased a prototype system that captures CO2 from ambient air using their proprietary TVSA process that not only uses very less energy but is also easy to build. Housed in standard containers, the modular units are designed for flexible, global deployment – a promising step toward a more climate-positive future.

After an inspiring start in Vienna, the journey continued to a company site where the first ADU1 unit was officially commissioned. Here, guests not only had the opportunity to experience the technology up close but were also immersed in DACLAB’s vision and spirit of innovation through engaging presentations and panel discussions. It was a significant milestone—not only for the company, but for the entire carbon capture community.

Event planning and guest management were handled by brandmood – from arrival in Vienna to seamless transfers and day-long coordination.

The day concluded with a relaxed networking dinner at the stylish Salonplafond in the heart of Vienna – an inspiring end to an eventful day.
